So this Christmas I asked for a Colonoscopy and man was I in for a treat! Really coins the meaning of starting fresh for the new year. Now I just have to behave eating wise. Anyway while fasting for two days all I wanted was a pork roll egg and cheese on a wheat bagel, with that yolk oozing out on to everything..... pure heaven. After holding my nose while trying to drink 2 liters of icky liquid it finally happened. Im a clean colon gal but the best news of all when the doctor showed me the printed report (in full color which is now hanging on my fridge with pride) "Rebecca, we discovered a WHOLE almond in there!" Just wait till you see these pictures, too good. Other than the nut everything is good more testing for the next weeks to come. Looks like I'll be in Jersey long enough to get that bagel! Now more sociable news.....
