In case you've been living under a rock and didn't already get your mouth around an Artichoke slice this will be news to you.
Take a stroll on 14th Street between 1st and 2nd ave to see these famous brothers making perfect heart-attack cheesy goodness. Now there most likely will be a line BUT its worth the wait and worth your metro money, $4 dollars for one slice. Trust me on this one!
So after you become a follower of the brothers, Francis and Sal they have now perfected the roast-beef sandwich.
Say hello to, This Little Piggy Had Roast Beef.
"Sandwiches come “This Way,” in homage to Sheepshead Bay’s venerable Roll ’n Roaster, on a roll, au jus, with Cheez Whiz, or “That Way,” an Italian-American riff on half a hero loaf from Reliable Bakery, with onion, gravy, and fresh mozzarella. There will be housemade fries and milkshakes, too, plus a pastrami sandwich with cole slaw and mustard on rye. “I cracked the code for Katz’s Deli,” says Garcia."
